Technology to convert Iodine into a stable product was pioneered at the Ruakura Agriculture Research Centre. Ruakura was instrumental in Government and business combining to initiate the practise of “teat dipping” with the new safe Iodine product. Bovadine was born and has been a leading product for mastitis control for over 50 years.
